When are the public and school holidays in 2027?
South Africa has 12 public holidays as determined by the Public Holidays Act. The Act determines that whenever any public holiday falls on a Sunday, the Monday following it shall be a public holiday. The dates below reflect the school calendar gazetted by the Department of Basic Education; the end of the Term 4 school holiday depends on the 2028 school calendar, which has not yet been published (TBD).
